Simple, parent-friendly policies, dress code details, tuition timelines, gala info, and answers to common questions.

WELCOME ALINA BALLERINA

We’re thrilled to have you with us! This page gives new families a quick, friendly overview of how our studio runs so your dancer’s first weeks feel easy, joyful, and organized.

Dance Season: September to June
No Classes: Statutory holidays and school breaks

New to the studio?
Arrive 5–10 minutes early during your first week so your dancer can settle in calmly. Whether your child is a quiet observer or ready to jump right in, both are normal—confidence grows week by week!

TUITION AND PAYMENTS

Registration (at sign-up):
$25 non-refundable registration fee per student

Tuition Options:

  • Full year by September 1: 10% discount

  • Monthly plan (10 installments): Auto-charge by debit or credit

Class Rates (per month):

  • 45-minute class: $69

  • 60-minute class: $92

Billing Timeline & Late Fees:

  • Tuition is auto-processed on the 1st of each month

  • Grace period to the 7th → 10% late fee

  • Still unpaid by the 14th → 20% late fee

  • Accounts unpaid after 14 days may be paused

Manual Payments:
Prefer to pay manually? Payments open after the 25th once fees are posted.

WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS

Life happens! To withdraw, please email us 14 days before the next billing date to avoid the next charge.

  • No refunds for missed classes

  • Performance fees are non-refundable after the listed deadlines

  • If the studio must close unexpectedly, credit will be applied toward other programs

 

DRESS CODE AND DANCEWEAR

Proper attire helps dancers feel confident and ready to learn. If you’re still gathering items during the first few weeks—no stress!

  • Hair neatly secured away from the face

  • Label all shoes and dance bags

  • Bring a refillable water bottle

GALA PERFORMANCES

Winter Gala – December 7, 2025
(Ballet classes, Primary and up)

  • $95 per dancer → costume rentals, tech/venue fees, complimentary group photo and video

  • Due October 15; non-refundable after November 1

  • Optional Lead Role: +$138 (includes 4 Sunday rehearsals, 1.5 hours each)

Summer Gala – June 14, 2026

  • $100 per costume/class

  • Payment schedule:

    • 70% due November 15 (non-refundable after December 1; you keep the costume)

    • 30% due February 15 (non-refundable after March 1)

 

BALLET EXAMINATIONS

  • Primary–Level 2 dancers must attend two classes per week for at least two months prior to the exam

  • Advancement requires Pass Plus or higher

Exam Fees (due April 1)
Include registration, supervision, and mock exam:

  • Primary: $80

  • Level 1: $80

  • Level 2: $100

  • Level 3: $120

  • Level 4: $160

  • Level 5: $160

 

PHOTOGRAPHY AND SAFETY

We love celebrating our dancers! Unless you opt out, photos or videos may appear in studio materials or on social media. Names are never used without additional permission. To opt out, note it on your registration or email us.

Assumption of Risk:
Dance is physical. By registering, families acknowledge potential injury risks and release Alina Ballerina from liability for injuries occurring before, during, or after class (including online participation).

COVID-19:
By entering any public space, families accept the inherent risk of exposure and release Alina Ballerina from related claims.

 

FAQ

When should we arrive?
5–10 minutes early is perfect. Arriving too early can make little ones restless.

What if my child is shy at first?
Completely normal! Many dancers warm up over 2–3 weeks. Observing is still learning—it builds musicality, vocabulary, etiquette, and confidence.

Can we try a different class or level?
Absolutely. Talk to our Customer Care Team and your teacher will recommend the best fit.

What if we miss a class?
We understand absences happen. Consistency helps progress, but we’ll do our best to offer options or catch-up opportunities.
